Napili Point has Oceanfront One- and Two-Bedrooms on Honokeana Bay

Napili Point sits on a low lava-rock point between Nāpili Bay and Honokeana Bay: 115 units across low-rise buildings spread along the oceanfront in one of West Maui’s quieter residential stretches.

The property’s defining feature is Honokeana Bay, the small rocky cove directly below the grounds where resident green sea turtles feed on the reef.

On calm mornings you can count ten or more from the pool deck. The bay is rocky (reef shoes are essential and there is no sandy beach at the property), but for snorkelers willing to pick their way in, the marine life is some of the best you’ll find without a boat. Nāpili Bay’s sandy crescent is a short walk north for swimming and sunsets.

Two-bedroom layouts include loft-style configurations that sleep larger groups comfortably. The property has two swimming pools (one centrally located and one tucked into the quieter lower buildings), plus BBQ grills with picnic tables on the oceanfront grounds.

Two practical details: Honokeana Bay is not a swimming beach; the entry is over lava rock and the cove is best suited for experienced snorkelers with reef shoes.

And while Napili Point is oceanfront, the nearest sandy beach for wading and swimming is Nāpili Bay, roughly a five-minute walk north along the coast path.

During whale season (December through April), humpbacks pass through the channel between Maui and Molokaʻi close enough to watch from the pool or your lanai. D.T. Fleming Beach Park (a lifeguarded county beach with picnic tables and a wide sandy shoreline) is about ten minutes north near Kapalua.

The Gazebo at neighboring Napili Shores draws a line before 8 AM for its macadamia-nut pancakes; it’s a two-minute walk. Kapalua Resort is roughly five minutes by car for championship golf and upscale dining. Kāʻanapali Beach and Whalers Village are about 15 to 20 minutes south.
