Maui Eldorado is one of the more distinctive Kāʻanapali resorts: a low-rise, low-density property nestled between the 4th and 6th fairways of the Royal Kāʻanapali North Golf Course, with a private cabana on Kāʻanapali Beach itself reached via the resort’s complimentary golf-cart shuttle.

The private beach cabana is what sets Maui Eldorado apart. Located directly on Kāʻanapali Beach and reserved exclusively for resort guests, it offers a full kitchen, dining area, restrooms, showers, towel service, and lounge chairs, giving you a comfortable home base at the beach whenever you want it. The property itself sits inland (not oceanfront), but the cabana setup delivers the beach experience without the beachfront premium, and the golf-course setting keeps the resort quieter than the busier Kāʻanapali properties.

The condos that MPP Vacations manages at Maui Eldorado span studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom layouts across the property’s twelve low-rise buildings. The 1-bedrooms sleep up to four; the 2-bedrooms sleep up to six; studios sleep up to four. Our units have central air conditioning throughout, fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, smart streaming TVs in the living room and bedrooms, ceiling fans, and a private lanai. A couple of practical details worth knowing before you book: Maui Eldorado is not free of resort fees. The resort collects a $65 one-time registration fee per stay plus $22 per day at on-site check-in. Factor this into your budget when comparing properties.

On the upside, those fees include on-site parking, the beach cabana, the golf-cart shuttle to the cabana, and access to the Kāʻanapali Trolley (free). The fitness center, BBQ pavilion, and pools are also included.

On the property side, Maui Eldorado has three resort pools (so finding an open lounger is rarely a problem), two hot tubs, a fitness center, a poolside pavilion with gas BBQ grills, and a shuffleboard court. Manicured tropical grounds frame the buildings, and the lettered low-rise layout keeps walking distances short within the property.

Whalers Village is a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive south (with the Kāʻanapali Trolley as a no-cost option). Black Rock for snorkeling and the Kāʻanapali Beach Walk are both a short walk from the cabana.
