Kihei Kai Nani is a low-rise condo resort in South Kīhei: 180 1-bedroom units on roughly six acres of tropical gardens, set directly across the street from Kamaʻole Beach Park II (a lifeguarded family beach known for swimming and snorkeling). The whole resort is one-bedroom only, which keeps the demographic skewed toward couples, solo travelers, and small families looking for a tidy beach-corridor base without the high-rise scale of the bigger South Maui resorts.
While there is no in-unit laundry at Kihei Kai Nani, the resort has an on-site coin-operated laundry facility next to the front desk and pool.
There is no resort fee at Kihei Kai Nani, and parking is open; guests check in at the on-site front desk for a parking pass.
On the property side, the grounds include a 60-foot swimming pool (the property’s signature amenity), gas BBQ grills with picnic tables for cookouts, and a shuffleboard court. The low-rise layout keeps the property feeling residential rather than resort-busy.
For broader planning, our Kīhei vacation rentals page and the wider South Maui collection walk through the area’s beach corridor; our MPP Vacations rentals page covers the rest of the island.
Kamaʻole Beach Park II is directly across South Kīhei Road, a family beach with lava reefs at both ends that double as snorkel spots on calm mornings. Kamaʻole I sits a short walk north; Kamaʻole III a quick drive south. South Kīhei Road’s restaurants, coffee shops, and farmers’ markets line the corridor within a few minutes.
Wailea is roughly ten minutes south; Māʻalaea Harbor (for Molokini snorkel trips) is about fifteen minutes north. During humpback whale season (December through April) the Kamaʻole beach berms are reliable shore-based whale-watching spots.
Every reservation booked direct with MPP Vacations at Kihei Kai Nani includes free daily Xplorie activities and the MPP Starter Kit: toiletries, paper goods, beach chairs, towels, and a cooler ready for you on arrival.
